Finished in One Place, the Way You’d Finish It Yourself.

In-house bindery and finishing in Nashville since 1972

Whether it’s a digitally printed gatefold brochure or an annual report with an embossed cover, finishing is where most printed jobs are won or lost.

A book can print beautifully and still arrive with a crooked trim, a cracked spine, or a lay-flat binding that won’t lay flat. That’s why Pollock Printing keeps finishing in-house, start to finish. When the bindery is down the hall instead of across town, nothing waits in a shipping queue, nothing gets handed to a vendor who didn’t see the press sheet, and quality stays in our hands at every step. It’s also why few printers in our area can match the range, quality, and speed of finishing we run under one roof.

“NOBODY HAS ALL THE OPTIONS AND SERVICES YOU DO.”

It’s the comment we hear most from new clients who used to split a single job across two or three vendors.

Why In-House Finishing Matters

One building. One team. One point of accountability.

When printing and finishing live in the same building, your job moves straight from press to bindery without waiting on an outside finisher’s schedule. That saves days, removes a handoff where errors creep in, and gives you one team to call instead of two. For a tight deadline, it can be the difference between making the deadline and missing it. We’ve rearranged our own production more than once to gain a client a day or two when it counted.

Binding

Looking for a premium touch like crossover monitoring or French flap softcover binding? We can make it happen. We run a wide range of binding styles in-house and will help you choose the right one for your page count, budget, and how the piece will be used. Our newest binder is fully automated, with a 15-minute make-ready that lets us turn jobs faster and run 20 books or 20,000 with the same consistency.

Folding and Bindery Finishing

The detail work that makes a piece look professional.

Folding sounds simple until a complicated fold goes wrong on deadline. Our automated folder sets itself up in about four minutes on complex folds, so even intricate work turns quickly and consistently. Alongside folding, our bindery handles the trimming, scoring, and assembly that take a printed sheet to a finished piece, all under the same roof and with the same type of quality checks as the press work.

In-house folding, trimming, and scoring

From simple half-folds to gatefolds and complex multi-panel work, scored and creased so every panel lines up and nothing cracks on heavy stock.

Built for both short and long runs

Automated makeready means we run small jobs efficiently and large jobs fast, without trading away quality on either one.

Coatings and Specialty Finishing

Protection and polish that hold up in the real world.

The right coating protects a piece and changes how it feels in the hand. Our presses run inline aqueous coating and UV curing systems, so finishing happens as the job prints rather than as a separate step. For books and catalogs, premium options like crossover monitoring keep images aligned across the spine, the kind of detail that separates a good book from a great one.

One Source, from Idea to Mailbox

This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in. We’re here to create work that matters, led by a shared commitment to quality and care.Finishing is one piece of what we do under one roof. Because we also run printing, in-house mailing, wide-format, and fulfillment, your project can go from press to bindery to the mail without ever leaving the building. You place one order, work with one team, and stop chasing multiple vendors to get a single job out the door.

That’s the Pollock Printing difference:

A service company that prints.
